We are excited to announce the 4th Annual Juneteenth Mullins Celebration
The festival will celebrate with Arts, Food, and Music. The event will be held in Smith Haven Park on Saturday, June 15, 2024, from 11 am to 7 pm. The national federal holiday will be observed on Wednesday, June 19, 2024.
The goal of the event is to support our small businesses and promote them widely to encourage economic growth for our entire community. The event will feature a Kids' Zone with face painting and other activities for children. It will also feature vendor booths, a main stage with a variety of performances (gospel, R&B, jazz, African), and a Food Zone with lots of cultural food!

Our community of 28,508 people is so amazing, we love our culture, our weather, our chicken bog! Our organization knows that TOGETHER we can ACHIEVE so much more! The goal for this fund is to raise $28,508 which is only $1 from EVERY community member. Your donation of any amount will go a long way to support our local businesses, increase economic development via our annual Juneteenth Mullins celebration which provides income directly into our community in the following ways:
- We first use local vendors for event needs - from equipment rentals to security
- $1,500 in Juneteenth Bucks which seed dollars right back into the small business at the event
- Funding our inaugural $2,000 grant to a local small business via Small Business Contest.
Together we can put our dollars to work, back in our community and watch us GROW STRONGER TOGETHER!
